Contractor Bid Alignment

Identify gaps, duplicate work, allowances, and unmatched items between a contractor proposal and the approved or proposed repair scope.

01

Definition

What this service means

Bid alignment is a structured comparison, not contractor selection or bid approval. It helps the responsible parties see whether descriptions, quantities, labor, material, and pricing map cleanly to the project baseline.

02

Best fit

When to choose it

  • A proposal is lump-sum or difficult to compare
  • The contractor bid and WWU totals do not align
  • The project needs a clean reconciliation record
03

Process

How the service works

  1. 1

The current scope, contractor proposal, plans, and supporting reports are collected.

  2. 2

Each proposal line is compared with the applicable project requirement.

  3. 3

Open questions and mismatches are documented for resolution by the borrower, contractor, lender, or program administrator.

04

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Line-item comparison
  • Gap and mismatch list
  • Clarification questions and reconciliation notes
05

Fees and safeguards

Price is confirmed before checkout

Starting at $495 per proposal review

HUD amounts are maximum references, not automatic charges. The property, scope, lender requirements, service area, payment arrangement, and possible conflicts are reviewed in DolaOS before a written quote is issued.

Payment does not create lender assignment, establish FHA eligibility, approve a loan, authorize an escrow release, or guarantee the project outcome. Card details are entered only on Stripe's hosted checkout page.

06

Role boundaries

What this service does not replace

The written engagement controls the exact scope. Unless expressly stated and professionally authorized, the service does not replace a home inspection, appraisal, engineering or architectural analysis, environmental assessment, code inspection, permit approval, contractor supervision, construction warranty, lender decision, or legal advice.
